YOKOTA, Yokota Air Base
Yokota PYOC: Following Jesus and helping other follow Jesus. The Yokota Chapel runs a host of ministry programs of which PYOC (Protestant Youth of the Chapel) is the teenage branch of our Chapel Ministry Team. PYOC exists to extend the arm of the Chaplains to minister to the teens within the Yokota community. Since 1999, PYOC has been directed by Malachi Ministries of Cadence International. It is our goal to reach students for Jesus Christ and make disciples who trust and obey His Word. Regardless of denomination or background, we believe each person needs to be subject to Christ and grow in relationship with Him. The Bible teaches that we each fall short of God’s standards on our own; that we need His grace; that life is a process of growing in faith; and we need the Body to build each other up.
Fusion is our high school youth group, and Lost-n-Found is our Junior High Youth Group. At Fusion and Lost-n-Found we discuss real life issues, play fun group games, sing good songs, and grow together as we study God’s Word. We also go on retreats, put on many kinds of events, have overnighters, do Bible Studies, and encourage personal growth in life & with the Lord.
Current Ministry Schedule
High School: Fusion, grades 9-12
Jr High: Lost-n-Found, ages 12 thru 8th grade
Fusion (High School Youth Group) meets every Monday. Lost-n-Found (Jr High Youth Group) meets every Tuesday.
Both Youth Groups meet every week at Building 4 from1830-2030
Regular program times and location subject to change this summer.
